Job Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:

• Oversee Interim Payment applications for ongoing Projects.
• Oversee, evaluate, and verify sub-contractor’s payment certification.
• Monitor head contract and subcontract change orders, Bill of Quantities.
• Liaise with site staff and design team to locate and evaluate the cost and value of all variations and prospective variations.
• Assist in the preparation of the Projects Monthly Report.
• Regulate and constantly review the accuracy and relevancy of subcontractor’s applications for payment, variation submission and pursuit of claims.
• Liaise with Projects Planning Engineers, Site Engineer and QC Engineers and keep up to-date with ongoing Projects activities and progress.
• Continuously verify and monitor accuracy of the progress reports and liaise with Project Planning Engineers on corrective actions and delay mitigations
• Evaluate interim and final accounts under the Main Contract and Subcontractor as directed.
• Control and supervise activities of Quantity Surveyors and other subordinate staff.
• Provide necessary feedback to the Procurement and Contracts Manager
• Identify, notify, and evaluate of events/situation that give rise to extensions of time
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Company systems.
• Other duties as directed.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCES REQUIRED

• Contract Administration
• Interim Payment applications (IPC)
• Management of Contractual rights and obligations
• Project Monthly Report (Cost Value Reconciliation CVR)
• Risk Assessment
• Risk and Opportunity Schedules

Preferred:

Member of I.S.M, R.I.C.S or similar professional body

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• 5 - 7 years relevant working experience.
• Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Ms Office.
• Knowledge and Experience in FIDIC contracts
